The centre has been set up through the Excellence in Cities programme to create learning opportunities for those in the Southport, Formby, Crosby and Maghull areas of Sefton.

The centre is equipped with the latest in ICT technologies, as well as radio and video studios which offer students opportunities to learn in new and creative ways.
